Happy Imaginary Traveling
I went to the library to pick up / check out the latest home decor magazines and ended up coming home with 4 exotic travel mags and The Endless Summer and Darjeeling Limited dvds.
a couple of things:
1. Conde Nast Traveler is my new favourite travel mag
2. Our planet is AMAZINGLY beautiful!
3. A few people in this world have access to unbelievable luxury...beyond what I could ever imagine..."does that place REALLY EXIST?!" insane.

Around the World
I really love a room that looks well travelled. Looks like it has a story. An eclectic mix of patterns, well used pieces, photos, art, plants, and put-your-feet-up furniture.
I came across Bokja furniture in a feature on apartmenttherapy.com...what cool stuff.
They take classic chairs and upholster them with awesome Moroccan, Indian, bohemian — ish fabrics.
p.s. i realize to that these are pretty feminine and you'd be hard press to get a guy to buy this..but I'm single so I Love it ;)
I also really like Gaiam or Mad Mats outdoor/indoor rugs which are made out of recycled cans!
There's a little coffee shop on the way to mt Baker that had them out in the summer time and they looked so good on the deck.

Garden Stools: II
Remember the post about using garden stools inside the house? I came across another cool example of it.

Three By Three
Yesterday, I went into a new store on Davie Street called Room In Order. It has every kind of organizer you need...bathroom, laundry, kitchen, office, bedroom, travel...it's got you covered. And it's reasonably priced.
While I was there I saw a lot of cool products by a company named Three By Three out of Seattle.
Here are a few things I really liked:
